  You can use a variety of datasets. Depending what you're creating, you could pull data from things like electricity usage (https://catalog.data.gov/dataset?tags=energy-consumption), water usage (https://catalog.data.gov/dataset?q=water+usage), or building performance stats (https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/performance-metrics-buildings-time-to-issue-developer-services-permits-e7b0b).
