PropTech Challenge aims to inspire innovative solutions solving real-world challenges faced by today’s leading real estate companies. Participants will compete for a grand total of $50,000 in cash prizes, along with an exposure package, across four challenge categories, culminating in a Demo Day event.

The live Demo Day event will be held in New York City on November 8, 2018 at 41 Madison Ave and is designed to showcase the top three finalists in each challenge category. Demo Day will connect developers with venture capital firms and key real estate decision makers – including C-Level executives – from the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) Technology Committee. Each finalist team will have a table at Demo Day to raise awareness about their solution, followed by live presentations to a panel of industry expert judges, followed by a Q&A session.

A unique aspect of the Challenge is its relationship with REBNY, whose members own approximately 275 million square feet of commercial office space and more than 200,000 residential rental units in New York City.  Developers will have ongoing access to representatives from many of the largest real estate firms.  These industry experts will provide developers mentoring, insight, and guidance covering a broad spectrum of strategic and functional areas, including industry pain points.
